About Us — Eight Weddings Photography

Hello!!

Im Sean, the artist behind the lens. I am married to my amazing wife, Janelle since 2016 with our 2 pups. I love practicing yoga regular with Janelle and taking the pups on hikes around Colorado. I’ve been taking pictures regularly since I was 17. In 2008 I went back to school for photography in the nations capital. I got my BFA degree in Photographic Imaging at the Art Institute of Washington. After i graduated in 2011, I was chosen for an internship with Bella Weddings Photography and learned hands on training from some of their best pros. I shot 2 years of weddings on the east coast before I relocated to Denver and began my photographic life out here. I’ve been in Denver since the end of 2012 and don’t plan on leaving. The landscape is what I instantly fell in love with. I knew my photography would look amazing anywhere in Colorado. Over the years I’ve been winning numerous awards and have been published in tons of blogs, magazines and pages. When im not shooting weddings i still try to photograph people as much as i can. I also run a popular Colorado Instagram feature page, Coloradotography.

I like to think of myself as the “best friend professional photographer” you never knew you had. My style is Photo-Journalistic, Fine Art & Editorial. I strive to connect with you on a personal level. That way you’re not spending your special day with a total stranger who seems like they don’t care. I have a few surprises I give to my couples on the wedding day which you’ll never see coming. Im very laid back, I like to go with whatever flow comes our way on your wedding day. Things can change and I adapt. I don't have a rigged schedule of shooting, I don't take hours during group shots or any shots for that matter. Im try to only pose the bride and groom during their photo walk and keep most of the day candid. I love shooting natural looking people with that natural smile on their face, not the cheesy obvious one.
